
Orange Dreamsicle Salad Recipe
Bring a burst of refreshing citrus flavor to your table with this delightful Orange Dreamsicle Salad! It’s a nostalgic treat that combines creamy and fruity textures, perfect for any gathering or a sweet end to your meal.
Ingredients
- 1 package (3 oz) orange-flavored gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 can (15 oz) mandarin oranges, drained (reserve 1/2 cup syrup)
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup mini marshmallows (optional for added sweetness)

Gather Ingredients
- Make sure you have all your ingredients ready.

Prepare Gelatin
- In a large, heatproof bowl, whisk the orange-flavored gelatin into the boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.

Add Mandarins
- Drain the mandarin oranges and keep them aside. Incorporate 1/2 cup of the reserved syrup into the gelatin mixture (you can discard the rest or save it for another use). Let the gelatin cool at room temperature, uncovered, for about 15 minutes.

Mix in Pudding
- Once the gelatin is cool, whisk in the instant pudding mix until well combined. Return it to the fridge and chill for about 10 minutes, until slightly thickened.

Fold in Whipped Topping
- Gently fold the whipped topping into the gelatin mixture until just combined.

Add Final Ingredients
- Carefully fold in the mandarin oranges and marshmallows, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

- Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for about 3 hours, or until set and slightly thickened.
