How This Amateur BBQer Is Beating Professional Pitmasters

Ashburn, VA: There is a new BBQ rub professional pitmasters are not happy with. This is because the rub is allowing amateur BBQ’ers to become a competitive threat, overnight. Here is how we learned about the rub.

Mark from Ashburn wanted a reason to hang out with his buddies more. So, he formed a competition bbq team.

Mark and His BBQ Competition Team

However, there was a problem. They were focused on drinking more than competing so they ranked near the bottom of every competition. Eventually, Mark’s wife started to gripe about his hobby. The BBQ competitions took up time and money. Mark’s wife felt his time and money could be better spent elsewhere since his team was coming in at the bottom of every competition. Mark knew his team needed to do better if he wanted to keep his hobby.

While doing some BBQ research, Mark came across a video he found on T-Roy Cooks (A popular BBQ show found on youtube). T-Roy was raving about some new rub called Bald Buck. T-Roy loved it so much that he was giving out 50 free bottles of it because he felt it was a game-changer.

T-Roy Cooks Review of Bald Buck

Mark threw his hat in and got lucky. A few days later, his bottle of rub came and he tossed it in his BBQ competition bag. Weeks later, Mark’s team was at a BBQ competition. They were competing in chicken thighs however, one of their members forgot to bring a couple of key ingredients they typically used for their chicken rub. Mark went in his bag to see what he had, saw the Bald Buck rub, and thought to himself “What the hell. Let’s see what happens”.

Mark’s team used the rub. His team came in 3rd. Prior to that, his highest rank in any BBQ competition was 42nd. In the next competition, Mark competed in thighs again. He used the same rub and fixed some food presentation issues. The team got 1st. Shortly thereafter, Mark competed in thighs again and his team got 2nd.

By changing up his rub and fixing presentation issues, Mark’s team was beating professional pitmasters, overnight. Mark let his wife taste what he was making to win the competition.

“She Took A Bite. It Tasted So Good She Started Cussing At The Chicken.”

  – Mark S.

“She said It was the best chicken she ever had. She rarely compliments my cooking.” Mark said. Since Mark has been winning, his wife has been more supportive of his hobby and he is currently finding ways to take his ribs to the next level, using Bald Buck.

After hearing Mark’s story, I tried the rub myself. I had some friends over and I used the rub on smoked chicken legs and boneless, skinless thighs. It was absolutely delicious. It was so good, I told my boss I wasn’t sure if we should publish this article. When he asked why I said I was concerned Mark could lose his competitive edge. However, the real reason is I don’t want my friends to know my new secret.
